Girls and Boys Shine at the Rotary

It was another Glorious Catamount Day at the 48th Annual Ronnie McClurg/Dalton Rotary Invitational. Girls Take Championship at Yellow Jacket Invitational

I’m super proud of the way our athletes competed last night at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Calhoun High School.  Our girls were in a battle all night with Region foe Rome High School, and in the end, our girls came out on top.  The boys also had a great night and ended up

Home Meet #2 – Sonoraville and Ridgeland

It was another solid night for both the boys and girls track teams as they competed against Sonoraville High School and Ridgeland High School.  The boys and girls ran away with the points as both teams took 1st in the Tri-Meet.  We are very proud of the effort of our athletes and they are continuing

Girls and Boys – Nance Relay Champions

It was a big day for both the girls’ and boys’ track teams as they took home the championship at the Nance Relays.  The girls dominated with a score of 163 while Darlington was in second place with 67 points.  The boys finished with a score of 109 while Gordon Central was in second place

Dalton Track & Field – Home Meet #1

On Wednesday afternoon the Catamounts hosted Heritage High School and North Murray High School.  Proud of the way our student-athletes competed in our first home meet of the year.  Our girls finished 1st and our boys finished 2nd.  The Catamounts are back in action on Saturday at the Nance Relays hosted by Gordon Central High

Blanchard and Coleman Compete in TFCUSA Indoor Track National Championships!!!

Two of our DHS Track stand outs, Luke Blanchard and Meg Coleman,  competed this past weekend in the TFC-USA Indoor Track National Championship in Birmingham, AL. Meg Coleman (Junior) set a meet record and won the Triple Jump with a jump of 10.77 M.  She also finished 10th in the 60 meters hurdles with a
