Jordon McKinney and Callie Smith Named Vincent Dooley Award Winners

Congratulations to Jordon McKinney and Callie Smith for being named Vincent J. Dooley Award recipients for 2015-2016.  The awards ceremony and luncheon will be May 7th in Atlanta.  This is 9th Annual Dooley Awards winners.  Students were nominated all across the state for the Athletes for a Better World award. Congratulations again Jordon and Callie!

Monday, March 7, 2016 6:00 PM Creekview High School AWAY 2 Dalton High School HOME 3 Game Recap Cole Shelton picks up the complete game win holding the Grizzlies to 2 runs over 7 innings. Harrison Notman led the Cats with 2 hits and 2 rbi. While Maddux Houghton added a hit and a rbi.

Dalton Boys Golf Finishes 2nd in Apple Mountain Invitational

Dalton Boys start the season off by shooting a 1-over 289 at the Apple Mountain Invitational for 2nd place.  Davis Smith led the way shooting a 69.  Davis Kirk followed with a 70, Allen Behr added a 72, and Carter Pendley fired a 78.  Landon Hicks added an 81.      

Dalton Boys Soccer beats River Ridge 3-1

dalton moved the 2-0 in the region by knocking off River Ridge 3-1.  Dalton led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Churrui Huitanda.  Dalton added two more goals in the second half by jimmy Cano and Omar Hernandez. Great Job Cats!

DHS Girls Soccer falls to River Ridge 5-0

River Ridge jumped on Dalton and led 4-0 at the half.  After a few adjustments, the Lady Cats played much better in second half, but few 5-0.  Go Big Red

Dalton JV Soccer beats Coahulla Creek 5-0

Dalton travels to Coahulla Creek and came away with 5-0 lead in the cold and rain.  Goals were scored by Frank Herrera, Jose Moreno, Juan Olvera, Livan Hernandez, and Harrison Fraire.  Brandon Herrera had 2 assists.  Nathan Rincon added one assist.  Go Big Red!

JV Tennis split with Trion Wednesday Night!

At Trion, in our first JV match, our girls won 3-2 and our boys fell 1-4.  Emma Bakker and Eunice Alvarran picked up single wins for our girls.  Molly Lambert and Madeline Hughes won their doubles match.  For the boys, Alex Reisz and Jordan Long won in double. In the second match, our boys won 5-0
