DHS Boys Tennis 5th at Granger Tournament last weekend!

Boys took 5th place losing to Harris County (2-3) in the first round but rebounding with wins against Lumpkin County (3-2) and Callaway (4-1). Over the course of the weekend wins came from: Bennett Wills (1S) Wyatt Cushman (2S) Ethan Ware (3S) Jake Myers/Colby Wills (1D) Same Goetze/Alex Reisz (2D)   Guys improve to 6-5

Dalton High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse falls to Creekview High School 18-8

Tuesday, March 22, 2016 5:45 PM Dalton High School AWAY 8 Creekview High School HOME 18 Game Recap Dalton took the lead for the first time in program history when Logan Cole opened the scoring in the 1st quarter. Logan would finish the day with 5 goals and 1 assist. Anthony Bundros had two goals.

Dalton Girls Golf Finished 2nd at Lafayette

Lady Cats finished 2nd at Lafayette Invitational shooting a 238.  Dalton had tournament medalist as Katelyn Skiffen carded a 75.  Just behind was Carson Roberts with a 77.  Bailey Mitchell added an 88.

Dalton Boys Tennis defeats Sequoyah 3-2

Sam Goetze and Alex Reisz picked up a three set win at No. 2 doubles 3-6, 6-4, and 7-5 to give the Cats the match.  Other wins came from #2 singles Bennett Wills 7-5, 6-2 and #3 singles Wyatt Cushman 6-1, 6-2.  

Dalton Girls Tennis falls to Sequoyah 4-1

Dalton’s Girls Tennis lose at Creekview 4-1.  Lady Cats (8-5 overall and 4-2 in region) lone win came from #1 doubles Mary Margaret Snipes and Shelby Fromm 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.

Dalton JV Baseball beats Cass 19-13

The Cats improved. To 2-3 on the season.  Jarret Statham started on the mound and pitched three innings and allowed five runs, three earned, with four strikeouts.  Chandler Starks pitched two innings and gave up five runs, one earned, with three strikeouts, and Zachary Lance allowed three earned runs with two strikeouts over two innings.

#1 Dalton Soccer cruises to 10-0 Victory over Woodland

Dalton improved to 7-0-1 with victory over Woodland.  This win clinched top seedin sub-region.  Yesterday, Dalton Soccer team reclaimed their #1 seed in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Go Big Red!

DHS Boys Tennis falls to Creekview 2-3

Dalton boys tennis traveled to Creekview Monday night for Region 7-AAAAA match up.  Dalton lost 2-3.  Our winning single player was Wyatt Cushman (6-2, 2-6, 7-6).  In doubles, Bennett Wills and Sam Goetze won 6-2, 6-3. Boys are now 2-3 in the region and 6-6 overall.

Monday in a region match up at Creekview, our girls tennis team loss to Creekview 1-4.  Our lone victory came from our #2 doubles Mary Turner Renz and Olivia Tidwell (2-6, 6-4, 6-0) Our girls are 4-1 in Region and 8-4 overall.
