Dalton Boys Tennis beats Rome 4-1

Dalton picks up the win at Rome.  #2 singles Wyatt Cushman won 6-2, 6-0.  #3 Charlie Alderman won 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.  #1 doubles Jake Myers and Colby Wills won 6-1, 6-2.  #2 doubles Sam Goetze and Alex Reisz won 6-2, 6-3.  Dalton improves to 1-1 in region and 2-3 overall.

Dalton Girls Soccer fall 4-0 at Sequoyah

Dalton girls fall to Sequoyah 4-0.  Come out Friday and support our girls as they take on Rome at Harmon Field at 5:00!

Dalton Boys Soccer beats #4 Sequoyah 3-0

Dalton travels to Sequoyah and picks up a big region win winning 3-0. Churrui Huranda scores 2 goals, Jose Boyzo added the third.  Dalton had  15 shots on goal to Sequoyah’s 2.  Great job Cats!

Jordon McKinney and Callie Smith Named Vincent Dooley Award Winners

Congratulations to Jordon McKinney and Callie Smith for being named Vincent J. Dooley Award recipients for 2015-2016.  The awards ceremony and luncheon will be May 7th in Atlanta.  This is 9th Annual Dooley Awards winners.  Students were nominated all across the state for the Athletes for a Better World award. Congratulations again Jordon and Callie!

Dalton High School Varsity Baseball beat Creekview High School 3-2

Monday, March 7, 2016 6:00 PM Creekview High School AWAY 2 Dalton High School HOME 3 Game Recap Cole Shelton picks up the complete game win holding the Grizzlies to 2 runs over 7 innings. Harrison Notman led the Cats with 2 hits and 2 rbi. While Maddux Houghton added a hit and a rbi.

Dalton Boys Golf Finishes 2nd in Apple Mountain Invitational

Dalton Boys start the season off by shooting a 1-over 289 at the Apple Mountain Invitational for 2nd place.  Davis Smith led the way shooting a 69.  Davis Kirk followed with a 70, Allen Behr added a 72, and Carter Pendley fired a 78.  Landon Hicks added an 81.      

Dalton Boys Soccer beats River Ridge 3-1

dalton moved the 2-0 in the region by knocking off River Ridge 3-1.  Dalton led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Churrui Huitanda.  Dalton added two more goals in the second half by jimmy Cano and Omar Hernandez. Great Job Cats!

DHS Girls Soccer falls to River Ridge 5-0

River Ridge jumped on Dalton and led 4-0 at the half.  After a few adjustments, the Lady Cats played much better in second half, but few 5-0.  Go Big Red
