GIRLS SWIMMERS MAKE FINALS–1st SINCE 2001

DHS Girls Swim has a relay team make the finals—first since 2001! The relay team of Abby O’Ferrall, Josephine Conley, Bella Lee, and Alondra hart finished 8th. The highest finish since 2001. The relay team of Abby O’Ferrall, Casey Mashburn, Kelly Mashburn and Bella Lee finished 14th.

DALTON BOY SWIMMERS STATE CHAMPS!!!!

As a team, DHS won the Class AAAAAA State Championship!!!!   Here is how the boys placed individually and relay teams in each event they swam or dove. Eight Wrestlers Headed to Sectionals!

Our boys wrestled tough this past weekend, qualifying 8 in one of 6A’s toughest regions. Cole hunt is your 106 lb. Region Champion, bringing his record to 40-0.  None of his 40 matches this year have gone the distance!  He is now a two time region champion.   Hunter Noland was dominant at 138 claiming his

McClurg and Barnes place 4th and 5th in State!

Charlie McClurg (4th place) and Jake Barnes (5th place) started Dalton High School out on a great opening day in the diving part of the GHSA Championship!  Charlie finished 4th in the state, while Jake finished 5th.  Our swimmers will swim the prelims today and finals will be tomorrow at Georgia Tech Aquatic Center!

DHS Football Banquet Tonight!

DHS Annual Football Banquet is tonight at 6:30 in the DHS Commons!  Everyone is invited to come join us as we celebrate the 2019 Season!  Dessert, coffee, and tea will be served! GO BIG RED!
